1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PDF Robot ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase of a valid license, Phantom Binary grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on up to two (2) devices registered to you personally or your business. Trial users may use the Software for a period of 15 days for evaluation purposes only.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the Software or your license key with any third party
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software
- Use the Software for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
- Use the Software to forge, alter, or misrepresent documents in any way that constitutes fraud or violates applicable law
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices in the Software
4. License Transfer
Your license may be transferred to a new device using the built-in license transfer feature (File > Transfer License). You may not transfer your license to another person.
5. Intellectual Property
The Software, including all code, design, graphics, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Phantom Binary and is protected by copyright law and international treaties. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Phantom Binary makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. You use the Software at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Phantom Binary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
8. Refunds
Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility. As a general rule, refunds are not available once a license key has been delivered and activated.
9. Termination
Your license will terminate immediately if you breach any of these Terms. Upon termination you must uninstall the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
11. Changes to Terms
Phantom Binary reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
